I cant wait to see you all flying on my birthday Its been so long since i saw the red arrows!😄 Good luck guys!
Is it just me or did the warrant officer switch with a commissioned officer in the beginning?
The world's best Display team are back!
Chocks Away! Good Luck Jon. 👍
As a chef for former Reds..John Rands, Andy Offer, Mark Zanker, Gary Waterfall, Spike Jepson…. It was an honour … let’s av a great season boys 👌👌👌❤️❤️❤️
Love coming back to old videos like this and seeing all the comments from the knuckle dragging Army bods trying to poke fun at the RAF’s fitness standards, it’s funnier now because since covid the Army’s fitness standards are worse than the RAF’s, even the RAF Reg’s requirements are harder than the Army’s infantry standards these days 😂
Best of british.
Best of the best!
The Reds are back 🙂
Say what you want about them, but the Brits saved actually saved the world.
A lovely tribute to an excellent warhorse. A fond farewell from me to the old girls…
Great use of a visual medium guys 👍🏻
fund more flying plz
😊😊😊😊😊
I was medical officer at RAF Wittering 🤓🤓🤓
At the time of writing May 2024 my grandson is at RAF Halton starting his second week of the ten week basic. They have lost a few guys already, only those getting above 80% but fail get another go, below 80% and you are out, some guys left after day three days, get as fit as you can before you arrive, just up to standard is not enough.
Pack of Lies
RAF Training was a joke, there was no Millitary Training whatsoever. When I reached My posting, There was little to no Millitary stuff at all. Postings abroad, a dream. waste of 6 Years
Well narrated, Barry. Would you not sooner be back at Uxbridge? 😃
COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories), has become the main prisoner gatekeeper of military occupation to control flows of information, people, good and AID. As a Israeli military unit it has become a key vehicle of bureaucratic violence against Palestinians.
Fascinating. The Interviewer was so subservient, it was painful, but Harris didn't really dodge any question. And he made some comments that are very relevant today. I loved how he suggested at the end that War only benefits the loser! I agree, it's shameful how Bomber Command was left without a Campaign Medal.
Menders vs benders
God I love pilots. 🔥🔥✈️
Very good jobs 👍
See you next time. 😂 See what you did there, Corporal!
Do you dummies have B sqn? 😅😅😅
This makes me want to apply even more!
Wonder if you'll ever show standing in a Sanger at 4 am awaiting a hot box ? Or four days in NBC gear during a Tac Eval ? Or jumping out of the Mally window to avoid the SWO ? Or trying to find your bike after you left it outside the Rugby Club on a Friday.
I took my grandson down to RAF Halton on Monday, day 00, He was quickly away into the block, no long goodbyes. We attended the family briefing, well worth the time, as the ten weeks in these videos are now a little different. there was also lots of questions, from the families. You can also ask private questions after, the people giving the briefing are the actual instructors. so everybody learnt a bit. For myself it was a day of memories, over fifty three years ago I arrived for my RAF apprenticeship at Halton, it turned out my grandson is in the barrack block behind the one I spent two years in. You have to say goodbye outside of the block, it's not a long walk from the carpark. However be warned the gate opens at the time stated on the joining instructions, and there is nowhere to stop, on the road, but once open they quickly get you parked. and there are people to direct you to the correct block. They are well practiced.
Reds Mission Support specialist........ booking hotels and organising the beer.
Spoken like an airman (RAF) 😅
@@gazza2933 Experience...
I just hoped they were modernising the display... "Apollo" doesn't really cut it in the displays these days - they were out-classed by several other display teams at RIAT last year - the old Hawks just aren't a competitive aircraft for displays now
Takes me back to Swinderby 1987, Christmas pass-out, 23rd December. 138 of us on that parade. I served 12 years and demobbed in 99. Had only 6 weeks to get all of that in I seriously don't remember any down time it was just go, go, go. Great times.
What a man. When I was a boy Leonard Cheshire and Sue Ryder visited our school in Suffolk to talk about their lives and charitable work. Unfortunately the significance of these people was lost on an eight year old, not now though.
the g force they must endure... even with the suits
The RAF is everything I look for in a job, unfortunately I’m not sure I would cope at war though. I would rather do “behind the scene” kind of roles. My main interests are the electrician, aircraft maintenance, and police (police i believe would be more frontline with the reg tho) However, all personnel are still soldiers first, I’ve got a few months until I can apply so I’m going to go to a careers adviser at some point and perhaps a recruiter too. I really want to join but with how wars are going currently, I question whether it would be worth it. On the contrary, if war was to break out, I can only assume civilians would be drafted into war too though. Does anyone here have any experience as a similar role to what I’m interested in?
Is it strictly shirt and tie every day?
It's a privilege to listen to this courageous and principled gentleman. I hope that his name is never forgotten.
Now all given away….
As an air cadet (ATC) I can confirm y’all don’t give us funding for nothing 😭
cold.
A great leader of Bomber Command. He was let down by all politicians including Chuchill.
He was a war criminal, end of!
The Royal Air Force and be the very best. The Story of Dakota KN630 for remembrance, Malaysian Government.
'The Gypo Break' its bonkers to think were having to change history because of the todays generation. Rename the back section Gypo and stand your ground !!
is this the only role in the RAF that see combat or do all roles go in?
He mobilised the English language,” Halifax replies despondently, “and sent it into battle.”
Coming to the raf in a couple of years
Poor seagull, after hundreds of miles flying back and forth he finally placed the last twig down finishing his new home the best nest the rock has ever seen and....💥🔥💥
That's phenomenal ❤️
